"

Why are so many ideas not started? Not executed? Are we too busy? Too young or old? Too scared? Under-qualified? Disqualified? What are some of your OBSTACLES TO CREATIVITY?

"

FOR ADD'L BIBLE STUDY

Note: please always study these topics and scriptures for yourself and in context.
I pray that you would be filled with wisdom and spiritual understanding (spiritual and mental intelligence combined) and increase in the correct knowledge of God. / Col 1:9-10

THINKING CORRECTLY
We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ…  / 2 Corinthians 10:5 (AMP)

UNITY/TEAMWORK
I urge you, believers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in full agreement in what you say, and that there be no divisions or factions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your way of thinking and in your judgment [about matters of the faith]. / 1 Corinthians 1:10 (AMP)

As iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens [and influences] another [through discussion]. / Proverbs 27:17 (AMP)
SHARPEN: make more keen; make sharp, swift
KEEN: intellectually alert; extremely sensitive in perception

Two are better than one because they have a more satisfying return for their labor… / Ecclesiastes 4:9 (AMP)

STRENGTH/ENCOURAGEMENT
I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].  / Philippians 4:13 (AMPC)

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. / Proverbs 3:5 (AMPC)

CHALLENGES
Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing. / James 1:2-4 (AMP)

And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. / Philippians 4:19 (AMP)

He who leans on and trusts in and is confident in his riches will fall, But the righteous [who trust in God’s provision] will flourish like a green leaf. / Proverbs 11:28 (AMP)

For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened. / Matthew 7:8 (AMP)

TIMING
…the vision [Divine communication] is yet for an appointed time… / Habakkuk 2:3a

Where there is no revelation [divine communication/vision], the people cast off restraint [let loose; neglect; lead]… / Proverbs 29:18 (AMP)

What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? / Romans 8:31 (AMP)

A GOOD REPUTATION
A good name [earned by honorable behavior, godly wisdom, moral courage, and personal integrity] is more desirable than great riches; And favor is better than silver and gold.  / Proverbs 22:1 (AMP)

Keep your behavior excellent among the [unsaved] Gentiles [conduct yourself honorably, with graciousness and integrity], so that [a]for whatever reason they may slander you as evildoers, yet by observing your good deeds they may [instead come to] glorify God in the day of visitation [when He looks upon them with mercy]. /
1 Peter 2:12 (AMP)

Therefore, brothers, choose from among you seven men with good reputations [men of godly character and moral integrity], full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may put in charge of this task. / Acts 6:3 (AMP)

ANSWERS TO PRAYERS
For the eyes of the Lord are [looking favorably] upon the righteous (the upright), and His ears are attentive to their prayer (eager to answer)… / 1 Peter 3:12a (AMP)

And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. / Romans 8:28 (AMP)

GIFTS/TALENTS/ABILITIES
Not that we are sufficiently qualified in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency and qualifications come from God. / 2 Corinthians 3:5 (AMP)

Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor]. / 1 Peter 4:10 (AMP)

Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to use them accordingly: if [someone has the gift of] prophecy, [let him speak a new message from God to His people] in proportion to the faith possessed; if service, in the act of serving; or he who teaches, in the act of teaching; or he who encourages, in the act of encouragement; he who gives, with generosity; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy [in caring for others], with cheerfulness. / Romans 12:6-8 (AMP)

And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct], [and He did this] to fully equip and perfect the saints (God’s people) for works of service, to build up the body of Christ [the church]; until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity]. So that we are no longer children [spiritually immature]… / Ephesians 4:11-14 (AMP)

ASKING FOR HELP
For everyone who keeps on asking [persistently], receives; and he who keeps on seeking [persistently], finds; and to him who keeps on knocking [persistently], the door will be opened. / Luke 11:10 (AMP)

All things are lawful [that is, morally legitimate, permissible], but not all things are beneficial or advantageous. All things are lawful, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life]. / 1 Corinthians 10:23 (AMP)

USING TIME WISELY & ABILITY
…making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil [full of hardships, annoyances…]…  / Ephesians 5:16 (AMP)

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. / James 4:13-14 (NKJV)

PERSEVERANCE
Do you see a man skilled (quick; prompt; skilled; ready) in his work (occupation; business)? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men. / Proverbs 22:29 (AMP)

The hand of the diligent will rule, But the negligent and lazy will be put to forced labor. / Proverbs 12:24 (AMP)

PURPOSE/MOTIVES
Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men… / Colossians 3:23 (AMP)

…and whatever you do in word (speech; doctrine; reasoning; ideas) or deed (business; employment; or any accomplishing act – by hand, art, industry or mind); do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. / Colossians 3:17 and 1 Thessalonians 5:18

PEACE/FOCUS/FAITH
Be anxious [troubled w/cares] for nothing, but in everything by prayer [to God] and supplication [seeking, asking entreating] with thanksgiving let your requests [petition, requirements] be made known to God.  / Philippians 4:6 (NKJV w/my notes)

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. / Proverbs 3:5 (AMP)
