…the goodness of God leads to a change…
…the goodness of God leads to a change…
Being miraculously raised from the dead or the thought of a tangible, spiritual body seems unbelievable; but there countless proofs of Christ’s resurrection. Studying them is one of the reasons my relationship with God began. After learning many things including, about an historical resurrection, I had questions like:
why does the Old Testament prophesy of Jesus’ existence and coming?
why and how does God put Himself/His Son through birth and a “man’s” life?
why was the blood of lambs/is the blood of The Lamb important?
why die by crucifixion specifically?
why did it happen at the point in time it did?
why was Jesus Christ raised from the dead?
why was He seen walking through walls, appearing suddenly…was He spirit or flesh?
was it mass deception?
The real, non-commercial, unbiased, sober-minded, open-hearted search and desire for truth will make you fall on your face. It’s worth the research and sincere question, “It all sounds unbelievable but Jesus, if You’re real, somehow alive, and Who some say You are, will You begin to show me”?
…the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding or knowing them, because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters]… / 1 Cor 2:14 AMP + AMPC
…Though we have known Christ from a human point of view, now we no longer know Him in this way. Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. / 2 Cor 5:16b-17 AMP
…the goodness of God leads to a change of mind / Romans 2:4
I know what I believe and am consistently learning why.
My encouragement to you too, is know what you believe and why & know what you DON’T believe and why.
It’s a process, but the best journey you could ever make. Forevuh-evuh!
