Is God Real? HolySmorgasBlog Cover

"

What if God has been making Himself known to you in various ways? What if, from the womb, He’s been speaking directly to your spirit? Speaking through others? Speaking through His creation? Have you rejected Him? Would you recognize His Voice if you heard it?

WHAT IF...

WHAT IF God really IS real and beyond what we could dare imagine? What if He is beyond the far less than 100% of our brains that we use, beyond what we can see with our natural eyes, and beyond what we’ve heard, learned, allowed, or experienced?

What if [He is], then you die, and far too late find out that you weren’t a natural being having a human experience, but are actually an eternally spiritual being having a temporary natural experience—so your natural life ends, you leave your earth suit, leave time, enter into eternity, and find everything you were taught or assumed or built your life upon was wrong; that everything you thought about life after death, death after life, God—was all wrong?  You find, that all that time, you judged God or Who He could be by human standards and missed out on your whole purpose for being? For whatever reason you chose to ignore Him like I did—whether due to embarrassment, laziness, comparing Him to a human, misguidance, poor examples, tragedy in your life, supposed hyper-intelligence, for whatever reason you chose to reject Him, what if, with your limited mental and spiritual capacity, you find that He blows your every idea of Him out of the water—blows it far outside the box you tried to put Him in? What if He is so amazing, not only is He incomprehensible, but your human body and brain can’t even handle the power of His Presence? What if His full Presence doesn’t even become accessible until you leave your body?

But! In His jam-packed grace, what if you come to learn that He offered Himself to you daily but you turned a blind eye to what he revealed and became hard of hearing or even completely deaf to His Voice. His 100% Holy Spiritual Voice, speaking to that spirit of yours, inside that earth suit of yours, was stifled by your short, unintelligible time in eternity and that, even mysterious to you, brain of yours.

You find He loves you so much, that He didn’t try to control and manipulate you into making you love Him back, but allowed you freedom of choice during your short time here; allowed you to make your own decisions about Him, and you decided He wasn’t one of them because you couldn’t wrap your brain around it? You couldn’t wrap your limited, natural brain around an infinite and omnipotent spiritual Father. What if?

If this is the case, isn’t He worth a thorough and complete investigation?
After all, eternity is long but without him, it’s hell.

Believe it or not, we all need saving.
First, from ourselves.

…that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them. For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification], Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools [professing to be smart, they made simpletons of themselves]. / Romans 1:19-22 AMPC

Realize, He stands at the door knocking. If you hear His voice and open the door, He’ll come in, sit down, and eat with you. / Revelation 3:20

Much love,

GOD’S LOVE FOR YOU – Ephesians 2:4-5
But God, being [so very] rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us, even when we were
[spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us [spiritually] alive together with Christ (for by His grace—His
undeserved favor and mercy—you have been saved from God’s judgment).

GETTING TO KNOW GOD – Hebrews 11:6
…without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

TRUSTING GOD WITH YOUR LIFE – Romans 10:9-13
…if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will not be disappointed [in his expectations].” For there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same Lord is Lord over all [of us], and [He is] abounding in riches (blessings) for all who call on Him [in faith and prayer]. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord [in prayer] will be saved.”

GOD’S LOVE FOR YOU – 1 John 4:9-11
…the love of God was displayed in us, in that God has sent His [One and] only begotten Son [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind] into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation [that is, the atoning sacrifice, and the satisfying offering] for our sins [fulfilling God’s requirement for justice against sin and placating His wrath]. Beloved, if God so loved us [in this incredible way], we also ought to love one another.

GOD’S LOVE FOR YOU – Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God is in your midst, A Warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with joy; He will be quiet in His love [making no mention of your past sins], He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.

GOD’S LOVE FOR YOU – John 3:16
God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.

GOD’S LOVE FOR YOU – Romans 8:38-39
I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things  present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

NATURAL VS SPIRITUAL MAN – 1 Corinthians 2:14-16
…the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters]. But the spiritual man [the spiritually mature Christian] judges all things [questions, examines and applies what the Holy Spirit reveals], yet is himself judged by no one [the unbeliever cannot judge and understand the believer’s spiritual nature]. For who has known the mind and purposes of the Lord, so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ [to be guided by His thoughts and purposes].

GOD’S WORKMANSHIP – Romans 1:19-22
…what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools…

Behold, I stand at the door [of the church] and continually knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him (restore him), and he with Me. / Revelation 3:20 AMP

So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification], Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks… / Romans 1:19-21a AMPC
